Kilmartin Museum was excellent. Lots to see and very interesting for us as well, which is not often the case. I particularly like their outdoor exhibit demonstrating the alignment of the nearby megaliths with the sun’s position. A quirky little pedestal which I’m sure many will have overlooked. We decided we had enough time to … Read More “Lammas 2015 p8 – The Pink Knight and the Black Chamber” »

After a hearty breakfast at the Loch Melfort Hotel – a hotel with stunning lake views and roaming highland cattle – we checked out and made our way back to Kilmartin. We had passed signs on the edge of Kilmartin for a castle called Carnasserie, and this would be our first stop today. Later we … Read More “Lammas 2015 p7 – The Troll of Carnasserie Castle” »

If you … Read More “Stolen Artefact and the Faery Taint – Lammas 5” »

Clearly, this was the right order in … Read More “Lammas 2015 p4 – The Energy of the Ballymeanoch Stone Rows” »
Having been birthed into the world at the last cairn we visited, a short drive later and we were at another cairn. Even as I walked into the place I felt that this place had a different energy about it. Or at least for me it did. I followed the rods, in almost a straight line up onto … Read More “Gratitude – Lammas 2015 P4” »
