Energetic Double part 2 – Connection through a gift at Dinas Bran

Edge Wizardry, Energy work

After our visit to the Ancient Yew on the Autumn Equinox of 2010 we went to the second site on our equinox list, Dinas Bran. Since Gwas introduced me to Dinas Bran I have felt that it is a place of much significance – which is surprising since it is not a stone circle. Perhaps being the home of Brian the Blessed has something to do with it?

My acquisition of a new quest only an hour before at Llangerny had me wanting to explore the edges of it now that we were at a “blessed” site. Dinas Bran is a lovely mossy top of a hill. It is a decent climb to get to but not as arduous as Llandrillo (although we did do both of them in one day once – phew)

Some questions

I had left the Yew with several questions in mind. I knew we had other places to visit on this Autumn Equinox and so the questions could wait…until now.

The usual confirmatory questions were asked and answered – for example…

  • Did I see what I thought I saw? Yes.
  • Was “it” real? Yes
  • Was my quest to find and merge with my energetic double? Yes
  • Did I have a choice? Yes

After asking these questions I was quite reassured that this was a quest that was on offer. Now (as often happens with me) as I was asking these questions my intuition was bringing up new thoughts and I began exploring them…

  • Was this a dangerous quest?Yes
  • On a scale of 1 to 10 how dangerous? 19! What?!?!
  • Is there a danger of death?Yes
  • Am I ready to merge with my Energetic Double? No, definitely not.
  • If I did merge now would I die? Yes

OK, it looks like this quest would be separating the men from the boys! Scary and honestly I was scared.

I began to ponder on how I would begin on this quest. It was obvious that I should not be entertaining any face-to-face with “it”. The danger of such an encounter was palpably clear.

Leaving the Gift

As I cast about for a way to make some movement on this quest it came to me to make a connection through a gift. As is the “norm” with Gwas and I, we are always picking up the odd rock, stone or crystal from one place and leaving it at another. Why? Most often we have no idea.

I had collected a small pebble from the Yew’s yard and it seemed that this was going to be the “gift” that would be left behind. But where and how?

A Path for my Energy Double

A mix of dowsing and intuition had me walking a path, leaving an energy trail behind me and finally arriving at the “window” which you can see in the first picture at the top of this post. The left one as you look at it. I sat in the window and sent out a message (How? I just intended that a message be sent out to my Energetic Double) that a gift had been left here, in the window.

I remained seated for quite a while after the “gift” had been left, wondering how I would know if the gift would be accepted and/or taken. Of course this could be answered by dowsing, but still…

Eventually I arose with the feeling of a job well done. Which was confirmed by a set of dowsing.

I once performed a blue moon ritual atop of dinas bran, the crew carried a five foot harp, a cauldron and ritual attire to the very top….extremley difficult but well worth it as the Harp sounded beautiful as the bright orange moon shone its glorious glow.
