Ceridwen’s Cauldron – the drips that got spilt

Modern Druidry

In this post I have collected all of the themes and ideas that nearly got posted. Over the year we begin to write about many things, and almost half of them never get to see the light of day. in this post I have rounded up some of the trickly little blighters that have escaped your rabid attentions and which nearly made it to the surface of the blog. I hope that it will provide some insight into topics that interest us, and perhaps, if interest if gleaned from any quarters, we will elaborate upon why we created the drafts and explain why they never saw the light of day, and fell upon the stony ground, as it were.

One of the things that I try to stick to is not to lecture. I am here to present my own findings, and occasionally to point out the interesting work of others who do the same. Where possible I only work from first-hand knowledge.

Some things just tasted bad

Here are some posts that didn’t quite make it into this year’s blog. Most of them are structured, and some of them nearly completed. All of them seemed like a good idea at the time, but have been kept back from publishing because we always prioritise our own practical experiences over those which are second-hand or theoretical.

  1. Building a bridge – how to create an energetic bridge between a power centre at a sacred site and a power centre in your home or nemeton. Discussion about why you would need this, and some cautionary advice on how to protect such a link, how to open it and how to keep it closed again.
  2. Chi and Magick: the synergy of forces – how these two energies present themselves to us, and whether there is any way that magick employs the energy of chi/qi in order to make intention affect the physical world.
  3. Telepathy and Subtle Energy – how M and I transferred thoughts when standing at either end of a passage grave in Brittany.
  4. The Belinus Line and The Spine of Albion – the idea that there is a ley line that runs straight up the country from the south coast to the north of Scotland. I discuss this idea and how I may have a different path for the line.
  5. Subtle energy explained: polarisation, chirality and the waveform – some terms from physics that may contribute to an understanding of the forms of subtle energy and how they move.
  6. The electro-magnetic view of mounds, chambers and circles – how these ancient structures may have been created to enhance and capture electro-magnetic energies for the purpose of fertilisation of the land and crops.
  7. Working with elemental spirits: a Hedge Druid’s introduction – how I found my own elemental spirit forms and how they can be worked with in hedge druid activities.
  8. How stone circles transform energy: basic theory – some basic concepts of the transformation and movement of energy from its sources, through stone circles, and into the land.
  9. Rules of Evidence : validating subtlety and uncertainty – some ideas on how to establish ground rules for believing in your strange experiences.
  10. Stone circles: ancient schools? – I discuss the idea that some stone circles may have been set up as ancient colleges, places where initiates into the mystery traditions were schooled.
  11. How to create a power centre in your home – Kal’s practical exercise in creating a power centre…in your home! For the lazy druid who doesn’t like rain.
  12. Manly P.Hall and Types of Subtle Energy – I discuss some of Manly P.Hall’s ideas about subtle energy sources.
  13. C.W.Leadbeater – Esoteric Science and Subtle Energy – I tell you a tale of a synchronistic meeting with an Anglican minister and the discussion about the mystic C.W.Leadbeater that resulted from that meeting.
  14. The Red and White Dragons – a post about the origins of the red and white dragon concepts in British legend, and how they could relate to the male and female human energy forms.

If I receive enough requests to write any of these posts then I will consider completing them and publishing them for you. Just add a comment with a reason why you think the post would be of interest to you personally.

Gwas.
