The Spring Equinox was turning into a very auspicious day indeed. Gwas and I took our rest and lunch at a small Egremont Castle (here is a link to the site).
As Gwas ate his lunch I wandered about the remains of the courtyard. As I passed a particular point (essentially following an energy line using the rods) I noticed a flicker through the arched windows across the yard. I stared at them for a moment but couldn’t see what had caught my attention. “A bird” I thought and continued along my energy trail.
The question I had been following was, “Find me an energy trail that would be beneficial for me.” it eventually led me in a large loop to the top of a hillock behind the castle. I stood facing the arch windows looking into the castle courtyard wondering what was so interesting about this spot. Other than it seemed to be an energy centre.
As is becoming our norm these days, having failed to find (intuit) anything of interest I asked whether there was something around here that would help me understand why that place was of interest? Yes. Following the rods took me in a neat circle to pole that was right behind me some ten foot away. It was flying a green flag.
Hmmm…I needed to ponder this, so I walked over to a nearby tree and sat against it staring at the flag. Nothing was coming to mind as I tried to get into a hypnagogic state. The flag fluttered in a slight breeze and the green colour brought to mind the Green Knight whose path I seemed to be following. It could be my flag I thought wistfully and it was with that thought that occurred to me. Should I have a place to fly my pennant from? I didn’t even have a pennant, although I had been tasked to create a crest (see the merry maidens).
I got up and grabbed my rods, was I being told that I needed a Pennant? Yes, Did I need to fly it here? No. Did I need to fly it at another place? Yes. Would this fulfill one of the Blue Keys? Yes.
I walked about the hill pondering this new revelation and assignment. Where to fly my knights pennant? Some kind of castle I presume?
