Energy protection – a disturbing find

I was visiting a local shopping mall with a couple of energy-aware friends last weekend and as I pulled my coat out of the back of the car my Rods tinkled and I had an idea.

“Hey, guys wait up a minute” I called and presented them with the plan.

As you, the reader, may know Shopping Mall energies are abysmal to contend with. I have dowsed them a few times and found that this is mainly due to the bombardment of auras that we suffer from when we are walking through them.

So, having this opportunity to play with energies and dowsing I came up with an exercise. I won’t describe the experiment, just take you through it instead.

I asked my friends if they had put up some energetic protection against the fourth coming bombardment. Their answer was no. Doh! But excellent. “I want to measure your energies? So, there in the parking lot, I dowsed there any energies and my own.

  • pre level 3,4,4 (out of 10)

I asked them to put up some protection and they focused for a moment and said they had. I dowsed…

  • With protection 7,8,8

Not bad. I was the 7 by the way! Now we took two trips around the shopping center just window shopping and then about 2 hours later came out and redid the test…

  • level 3,3,4

Wow! Our energy had significantly dropped in 2 hours!  I asked them to put up protection again and tested…

  • with protection 3,4,4

What! How come our protection hadn’t increased? I did a little bit more dowsing and the conclusion was that we would not be able to renew our protection for at least another hour.

A fascinating and unexpected result. One that needs more exploration.

Now I know why I hate to shop, especially in the malls. I’ll take my ivory tower and laptop any day over the mall. God bless the U.P.S. delivery person!

I’m thinking you can’t discount the effect of the EMF in a place like that too. So much fluoro lighting, so much sound bouncing off the ceilings, and so many mobile phones all crowded into one space. That would add to the energies of the people and create even more exhausting effects.

A very interesting post. Many years ago I worked with someone who I felt absolutely drained me of energy every day – albeit not intentionally (I hope!)and it wasn’t until I read an article about emotional vampirism that I realised what was/could be happening. Back then I had no idea how to protect myself and the person concerned left the company shortly afterwards and the problem ceased. My point is that if one person can have such a negative effect then the crowds in shopping malls etc can obviously have a very detrimental effect on one’s energy. I think Liz’s theory that such places are built on ley lines, or even some other type of ‘hot spot’ is probably correct.

There are most definitely some spots that seem to sap one’s vitality and yes I find shopping centres pretty horrid places energetically. I always come away feeling so drained, my legs are almost buckling beneath me, it really is such a negative experience. One idea I have is that these civic places are set on ley lines and whether by intention or accident, the collective energy of people on mass is sucked out – yes like the psychic vampire video Stephen has posted you. I think that dream I had, had something to say about this phenomena – it clearly is something to be wary of.

Thanks Stephen for this addition to the concept of psychic vampirism.
