Anglesey is not on my favourite places to visit I have to confess. However what I do like about going there is that we get the chance to visit Bryn Celli Ddu. As powerful places go, this is high on the list. The energy here is amazing, both in feeling and dowsing. I recall some of the other occasions we have been here and taken an interest in the energy alone. Spirals, flows and pools are abound at this site.
The sun was shining brightly as we walked into the enclave that houses the mound in the dark grove. Taking some time to get a feel for the Genius Loci and to let it reacquaint itself with me too. Once done it was time to work. I began by asking whether there was anything that I could do at this place? The answer was no. I then asked whether there was anything that I could learn? A resounding yes led me towards the entrance of the mound and for a moment I thought I would be going in it. However, I was led up the side of the entrance and just to the left of the top of the entrance. There I sat down and prepared for my commune. Some minutes later I felt I was ready and began looking for a suitable place to commune.
I have been asked as to how I know I am ready – in relation to preparation. Experience is the only answer I can give. Early on, I had to ask the dowsing rods, whether I was ready and it was often the case where the answer was No and I had to be seated again. Even these days, I will occasionally double check my readiness.
For my commune, I was taken up to the top of the mound and a place just above the front of the mound (where the solstice sun comes in). I sat down and opened myself up to commune. The connection was surprisingly immediate! A plume of energy rose up from the mound in a screw-like spiral and drilled itself within me. It was this spiralling energy that literally unhinged a question from the Dragons Soul book.
What is your purpose?
A profound question but not as striking as the ones I have already uncovered. Still, it was a surprising turn of events as I wasn’t expecting the revelation of an answer.It seems that the Dragons Soul quest had caught up with me again.
