Vivienne and the Giant Beltane 2014 – 14

Vivienne's Tomb
Vivienne’s Tomb

The wood that we were walking through had a magical feel to it. Not the same as what you get in the Wizards wood (Alderley Edge) but a definite sense of something present. Gwas and I journeyed through the wood and up a small hill to where the Tomb of Vivienne was located. I dowsed if there was anything for me to do here and the answer was no. A bit disappointing really since I had had nothing to do at the previous site we had been to.

However I asked if there was anything for me in the vicinity and the answer came back yes. So whilst Gwas engaged in his work I wandered off, following the rods, which incidentally followed the sound of a cuckoo. I was only about a 100 foot away from the Tomb when the rods unexpectedly swirled to a halt. It was another innocuous place. Not even worthy of a picture. But, if the rods say, so it be. It was a nice warm early afternoon so I sat down upon the designated spot and pondered its import.

My thoughts wandered and I felt myself sinking into the ground. Although that might sound like a daunting experience, it didn’t seem to bother me. I let myself slide deeper until I came across a huge presence.

Having just been to the Giants tomb and yesterday experiencing the Giant turn the Wheel of Carnac, I immediately felt that this was a giant, not only that but the giant from the afore-mentioned tomb.

I wasn’t expecting such an experience and so was taken by surprise. The giant however was in a communicative mood. “You have the Faery Taint” it said. I sighed, so I have been told. “you are misrepresenting us” it rumbled on. How so, I asked.

We are not giants in stature but in nature. I didn’t know what that meant and it responded. We are powerful amongst Faery kind. What? Giants are Faery kin? And amongst the most powerful? That was a revelation, but it wasn’t the only one. There was more. We were the first amongst Faery to show ourselves to the sightless. What did it mean by sightless? Those of you who cannot see into other realms. Ah… none psychics it meant.

It seemed to sink back further into the earth and I was about to call it back when it said, I only came because I smelled Faery on you. With that it drifted out of my consciousness leaving me with another conundrum…what was Faery Taint?

Greetings Kal, Another wonderful post !
Fairy taint 🙂 does this means your karmic/chakra reasonence
has been colored / knitted with the energie weavings of the fey ?
I really do need to learn more of this because there is some kind
of resonance in and around me that I must negotiate.
Have a great month and keep posting. 🙂 kara

      Hi Kara,
You will not believe how difficult it is to keep all the effects and experiences to mind. Often we will have an experience and then many months later it will be followed up with another that gives the first one some context. With regards to the Faery Taint that I seem to have, I don’t know whether it is a good or bad thing. There are some questions that the dowsing rods just refuse to answer. Like you, I will have to wait and see. Thank you again for your comments. You are on the journey with us. Kal
