Exorcising an Incubus

Posted on January 17, 2013January 23, 2013 By Gwas No Comments on Exorcising an Incubus
Dowsing, Energy cleansing, House Energies book, Other Entities

This post is a continuation of the previous post called “Poltergeist Pet“. In this second part I will be describing the investigations that Kal and I did to discover and eradicate a disturbing spirit that was plaguing three teenage girls in a quiet suburban house.

Having discovered that the energetic remnants of a pet was causing some of the more mundane disturbances, we were left with a set of reported symptoms that were much more sinister and threatening. Psychologically the symptoms sounded like the phenomenon of Sleep Paralysis, yet the rest of the reported symptoms did not match that! There was something else going on here.

Indeed, when I had remotely dowsed the house to ensure I was going into a hell hole, the one question that I was invited to answer from my checklist – the one deemed most important – was the one that asked how long it would be until the energy disturbance became life or mind-threatening. The answers was just over two weeks from the initial contact. We had to act fast! Now we were on site and prepared, so I set about investigating the second set of symptoms.

Teenage girls and poltergeist activity – a classic combination

The Feeling at the Top of the Stairs

The first patch of ‘heaviness’ was to be found at the top of the stairs, on the landing. This was where the girls had described a large proportion of the disturbance as emanating from. They were right. I could feel the energy in the air and it set my arm hairs tingling and my stomach cramping. Definitely a subtle energy spot there – the air positively bristled with it.

Still in search of the source of the sinister energy the rods began to take me on a tour of the bedrooms, turning at various key points, then leading me into the bathroom, but ending at the pillow on the bed of one of the girls. This was the end point for the energy trail – the location of the entity itself. I made a note to get Kal to check that later.

I went back to look at the heavy presence in the other girls’ shared bedroom too.

Questioning everything

Posted on January 8, 2013January 8, 2013 By Gwas No Comments on Questioning everything
Hedge Druidry, Spirits

At the start of the year I remembered that I had been chatting to Kal about the idea of questioning everything. Not absolutely everything – I had done that once before during a Philosophy degree. Rather, this was the idea of taking all of the things that I had come to rely on in the … Read More “Questioning everything” »

A guide to using incense

A guide to using incense
Incense

I’m always banging on about using incense. If you’ve read my previous posts recently then at almost any opportunity I’m lighting up and zooming off into trance. Now, as a Hedge Druid, why would I need these props? Surely, if I’m true to my cause I shouldn’t need anything except the sweet scent of Nature’s own aromas … Read More “A guide to using incense” »

Distant healing at Moel-Ty-Uchaf

Distant healing at Moel-Ty-Uchaf
Ancient Sites, Crystals, Energy work, Hedge Druidry

Despite the previous night being a great night for star-watchers, I felt a ‘pull’ to go to Llandrillo’s stone circle on Tuesday 15th March. The day was cloudy and murky, but relatively warm, and the evening was the same. There would be no star-gazing this evening! I was going to Moel-Ty-Uchaf for many reasons: To confirm … Read More “Distant healing at Moel-Ty-Uchaf” »

Imbolc 2011 – Chakras and Sonics
Incense, Trees, Wheel of the Year

At the end of our Yorkshire outing [two-part posts coming soon about that visit] I discovered that I had forgotten (possibly deliberately) to discover the quest that I had to undertake in the first eighth part of the year. Luckily I had a few spare days before the official Imbolc date of 1st February. We … Read More “Imbolc 2011 – Chakras and Sonics” »

2010 – Summary of the Year
Modern Druidry, Wheel of the Year

We have come a long way since we started in late 2008. All of that seems so long ago now, because so much has happened since then. We have grown. So I present a summary of the year’s work for 2010. Like Kal I intend to do this summary in a single post. Last year … Read More “2010 – Summary of the Year” »

Bakewell Church 2010 – the sending
Dowsing, Energy work, Modern Druidry

Bakewell, Derbyshire – Saturday, 20th November 2010 The air was charged with a sense of the impending arrival of Winter and the festive season. I could smell ice – a talent I have developed since I broke into the world of druidry. Bakewell town was alive with well-wrapped people jostling to see potential presents in … Read More “Bakewell Church 2010 – the sending” »
