Manifestations 3: Remote sending and receiving

Posted on December 19, 2008December 20, 2008 By Gwas 2 Comments on Manifestations 3: Remote sending and receiving
Dowsing, Modern Druidry

It’s all been a bit quiet, hasn’t it? What have we been up to? You know we never sleep where dowsing and druidry are concerned, so what have we been doing if not visiting ancient sites?

You might well ask. A few days before the Winter Solstice we are involved in an experiment to see whether we can send manifestations to each other’s houses. That is, we are mentally projecting patterns of energy to each other, attempting to imprint that pattern somewhere in the house, which can then be dowsed for by the other person. Then we report back to each other on what we have found to see whether it checks out.

We have tried this once already and got a really good correlation. We try to avoid the possibility of suggesting designs to each other by being as circumspect in our answers to each other as possible. We are not in the business of only agreeing with the bits that agree – we report what we dowse, and if it’s different to what was sent we say so.

Last time we tried this Kal had said vaguely that he might send something in the next few days. I almost forgot about it, then one evening for some reason I dowsed my house, not really thinking about anything that might be there from Kal. I just dowsed my house as I’ve started to do regularly when the weather is bad outside.

As I was a bit off-colour that day I asked firstly to find a power centre that had healing properties for me. I haven’t asked this kind of question in my house before because I so rarely get ill that I haven’t needed to! This day I wanted to be recharged as I felt lethargic and under attack from my wife’s recent cold bug. You know when you feel it coming on? A twitchy nose – a wheezy chest – a feeling of low energy? I followed the rods upstairs to my study where it crosses above the less-frequently used end of the couch in that room. I double-checked that this was the place and sat there. Five seconds later I was feeling like there was an internal updraft going through my spine, like champagne bubbles were flowing all the way through me! It was delightfully refreshing, and I sat there for five full minutes breathing this sensation in whilst looking out of the window at the sun beginning to dip below Helsby Hill. Lovely! As I sat there I wondered where the other end of the line was that had led me here?

I dowsed back downstairs until I got into our new dining room which has been built on the back of the house. When it was first built I checked it for energy flows and it contained nothing, so i was pretty sure I was going to be led outside to the source, but in the dining room the rods swung towards the centre of the room instead of away from it.

As I got into the centre of the room the rods swirled around to indicate a small spiral. I dowsed the gender of the spiral – female. Just like the healing centre upstairs. Was this spiral centre connected to anything else? Yes. OK – where? I followed a straight line to the outer wall of the room. Another small female spiral. Was this one connected to anything? Yes, again a straight line to the other wall, again another small spiral. Now I had a triangle shape. Was there a fourth side? Yes. Making a complete diamond shape there was one final spiral centre. I had found a diamond shape with a spiral at each corner, sat in the centre of this new room. This was definitely not here before!

Was there anything else in this pattern, I asked? Yes. I dowsed the centre of the diamond for any power centre. None. OK, if not a power centre, was there an energy line? Yes. I followed it around in a loose spiral of about three turns. This was a male spiral. A male spiral inside a square of four female spirals. Wow – where had this come from?

I began to make some enquiries. Was it from the garden? No. From the house? No. From the earth beneath the room? No. Then where? Suddenly I remembered what Kal had said about sending something to me.Was it from Kal? Yes. Aha! Mystery solved (partly).

I ran upstairs to e-mail Kal and later that day he confirmed that he had sent exactly that pattern. He had been trying to send remote Reiki energy to try to help boost my immune system against the impending cold that I had mentioned to him the day before. He said he had infused it with yellow and indigo colours because that was what I had identified as being deficient when we had dowsed this at Rhuddlan.

I know – he could have just said that. We thought about that. Kal was convinced I had found a pattern he had sent, it was only me that needed convincing, so I said that, now we had shown it was possible, I would send something back but I wouldn’t tell him what it was. He would have to describe it to me when it arrived. Then if he got it right I would be on my way to being convinced about this too.

I spent a few minutes visualising sending something back to Kal. Kal had said he had used a quartz crystal to focus the energies so I picked one up too and focused on sending something back to Kal. What happened next was quite freaky. As I stood in Kal’s pattern, crystal in hand, I went into a dream state. I issued the instruction to go to Kal’s house and immediately I took off! In my mind I flew over the M56 motorway, over the Weaver estuary, past Runcorn, and zoomed to Warrington, quickly ‘landing’ in Kal’s front room inside a swirling tunnel of energy. Like being in a tornado, the central hole was clear and undistorted by the whirling energies.

As I zoomed in on his carpet I imprinted the outline of a triangle onto his floor. Within that triangle I drew another, upside down so that it’s edges were touching the outer triangle. As I traced this image several times I could see the smaller inner triangle start to slowly spin round! I detatched, zooming back out, watching my pattern rotate until suddenly I was snapped backwards as though I was on a huge elastic band. This pulled me back through the ‘tunnel’ of energy that I had used to connect to Kal’s house, and suddenly I was back in my own dining room, slightly dazed and startled by the flight experience.

Kal e-mailed me a few days later. He had found the remnants of a pattern in his house. It was a “ghost” dowse though because the pattern was no longer there – but it had been and Kal was picking up its remainder energy. He described a loose triangle, and inside that there was a spinning shape that he couldn’t make out because it seemed to be moving. Was it a star or something? Well, how close was that? He explained that he had found out that my patterns may have only lasted about half an hour (unlike his, which was still there several days after he sent it). I’ll have to get practising, I guess!

Now we’re trying the experiment again to verify it, this time using a pattern picked at random from a set of eight possible shapes. These are the shapes we have devised. You may recognise one of them. 😉

As you can see some of the shapes conform to elements of sacred geometry – the pentagon and the triangles. Some are quite abstract like the circle with the double waves pattern (the Easter egg) and the striped rhombus. Others contain organic shapes of spirals and circles that suit existing dowsing signatures that we have found in the field.

Tonight, I will pick one of these shapes to send to Kal’s house. I will send it asking that it be placed where Kal can easily find it, and where the energies produced by the pattern will have the most beneficial effect, because I intend to send chakra-coloured energies that will balance Kal’s own chakra energies should they be required.

Producing chakra-aligned coloured energies is something we have been developing since we visited Rhuddlan Castle recently.  It’s also something that has been partially inspired by reading articles in the “Dowsing Today” magazine which described some of the lectures and workshops that we couldn’t attend at the Cirencester British Society of Dowsing conference in September of this year. Kal, I know, has already been working along these lines with his Reiki energy sessions.

There are many flowery web sites that advertise amazing healing energies that can be projected to you for a not insubstantial fee, but I don’t agree with this concept. To me, this is an energy that is freely available to anyone. I wouldn’t go looking to purchase something that I could develop myself. It’s more exciting to do it yourself. Go take a look at this site, for example. You too could enter the “Moderately Mystic Shopping Village”!

So, in a short while I will project an energy pattern to Kal. Watch for a string of comments as we tell each other what we’ve found, or not, as the case may be. Remember – we will be honest about this. We are not trying to create any myths here – we are happy to be taught harsh lessons about what’s possible and what’s not. We like to know our boundaries so that we can learn to break them! I’m looking forward to another shamanic flight.

I asked Kal to try a manifestation at the weekend and he said he’d send something my way. I was expecting one of the eight patterns we had agreed, but as usual he was being maverick and sent something completely “off the list”. He asked me to check for the shape, the chakra colours and the crystal used.
Well, I didn’t have any means to check for the crystal, because I didn’t fancy concocting a list and then working my way though it, “Is it quartz? Is it this, is it that?” (I get stuck after quartz).
I found an angled corner and stopped. Which shape on the list had an angled corner? Only the square. It must be the square that he’d sent. It became a square with four spirals at each corner.
I dowsed for colours and found red opposite orange, blue opposite violet.
All this got texted to Kal. I was right about the colours. He had sent red, orange and blue. Perhaps the violet came from the amethyst crystal he had used to make the manifestation, he suggested?
I was wrong about the shape. He had sent a star shape with a spiral in the centre. Well – I got spirals, I got colours, but I had leapt to a conclusion about the shape just from the first angle I had found.
This showed me how much we can form the result from our expectations alone. I really must try harder to avoid that way of thinking and be totally open to what’s there.
    We’ll try again soon.

Since I had ‘seemed’ to dowse a pattern from the past I wondered whether I could dowse a pattern from the future. For this I tried a rod-less dowse – just seeing if I could pick up an impression of what future energy would appear…

I got a distinct impression of an infinity like symbol – perhaps not far removed from the bottom left symbo in the above diagram –

Gwas said that this wasn’t the symbol he had placed – so tomorrow I will dowse for the pattern – however my rods are unavailable due to the universe taking them out of my reach – so it will have to be a pendulum dowse I am afraid!
