House energies II – the return

If you recall from my earlier post I did a house dowse some months ago (here is a link to it). I concluded that energy exploration with some recommendations for the couple to follow, which a phone conversation a week later confirmed that they had complied with all of them. Excellent.

Well, I was called up a week ago and invited around for a follow up.

In honesty, I was curious as to why a follow up was warranted. They seemed to have followed my suggestions (as I had learned in the previous phone call). However on a purely professional level, once I interfere in the lives of others, then I take some responsibility for it too. So one evening I grabbed my rods and wandered off to see what was to be seen.

I knocked and was invited into the home by the gent of the house, the lady was on her way back from some errand he told me. He took me stright into the kitchen for coffee and pointed to the place the Microwave had stood. There was a plant there! I smiled and looked around for the microwaves new location.

“It’s gone” the gent said, when he saw me looking. I was impressed. It isn’t so much that I could detect a change in him. It was more that I felt like he was excited about something. I asked if I could have a wander around the home whilst we waited for his wife.

My belief is that if we bound a place, whether by a ‘sacred’ stone circle, walls or by ‘ownership’ we also, in the process invite the co-creation of a Genius Loci (a spirit of the place). This spirit represents the holistic feel, life, indeed the spirit of the place. As I walked about the home I tried to connect with the Genius Loci. I guess it is like opening yourself up to the notion that a place has a feel to it and then trying to become cognisant of that feeling.

I wasn’t using the dowsing rods as yet. This was a no-tools exercise.

As I wandered about from room to room. I thought I felt a difference. It was a nice feeling. I noted that the picture of her mother was back on the table (now accompanied by a plant). Upstairs I also noted that they had changed bedrooms and that there was a plant in the bedroom and on the stairway.

The Genius Loci of the house was relaxed and ‘breezy’. Light is another word that I might use. I would say that it certainly felt alot different.

But I am not averse to believing that I could have been influenced by the Placebo, in that I saw the changes and thus believed that the feel must have changed

After getting a feel of the place I took out my dowsing rods to get a ‘real’ measure of the place. Of course the answer to “has the energies changed in here” was an infatic yes!”

Power Plus

Looking for the strongest source of positive energy I found the rods spiralling on the floor just in front of the couch in the living room. I was surprised because as I followed them down the stairs I was expecting them to end up at the mothers picture on the table. And to be honest I was a bit disappointed when they didn’t.

I have learned that plants are a wonderful generators of energy and I wondered whether the plant by the picture had any influence on this ‘power centre’. I asked if there was any energy coming out of the plant and a Yes had me following it as it looped once around the picture and the settled into a spiral right over the power centre.

I checked the level of energy on the same scale as what I used on my previous visit and this power centre was a 10+ (my scale only goes to 10!). It was pleasing to see such a good result here and I guess where the couple spend most of there waking time together.

A negative

I then asked and found the most negatively charged power centre. It was in the cellar. I noted that they had not had the leak fixed. I checked to see what energy level this was and got a -3. That wasn’t too bad (I hadn’t noted what it was on my previous visit sadly). But if a -3 was the worst energy in the house then that was good going.

Following the path

Here is a good tip. Ask to be taken to the power centres in order of strength. Basically this is a chain of two questions.

  1. Are there anymore power centres?
  2. Take me to the next most powerful power centre.

Simple enough right? What this revealed was that there were 9 positive power centres in the home. That was fabulous. I noted that most of them were centering on or around a plant.

In particular I found a really nice spiral around their bed.

All in all, the energies were vastly improved and ‘healthy’. As I returned back to the living room the lady of the house turned up. She smiled brightly at me and asked, “Has he told you?” I looked askance at both of them, “I’m pregnant.” the lady laughed.

It was lost on me I’m afraid, until I realised that they were attributing this to the changes in the houses energy. Surely not? The lady explained that they had been trying for a baby for two years with no success at all. Then about 3 weeks (or so) after they had re-arranged the house she fell pregnant.

There are several other explanations for this, anything from just lucky to the placebo of believing that their house was in some way ‘better’. I wasn’t going to even try to take credit for this event. And it is what I told them too, but they grinned and said it didn’t matter. “That is what we believe.”

As I finished off my coffee a thought occurred to me, A quick flick of my dowsing rods seemed to comfirm it. My question was…”Was this the place where the baby was conceived?”
