I was looking through the drafts on this site and one by Gwas caught my eye. The title of that one was almost the same as this is titled. Quickly reviewing Gwas’s statement I thought…hey why not, I might as well throw my towel into the ring.
I dowse at sacred sites for two reasons:
- I’m curious about anything on the edge of experience. I have been all my life as far as I can recall. I am slowly coming to the conclusion that a lot of paranormal phenomena is explainable within the framework of energies.
- The second reason for my dowsing at sacred energies is because I believe that one of their primary purposes was as tuning forks. The energy of these sites aligns with certain frequencies. When people conduct ceremonies or indeed just hang around in there presence then there energies are also become aligned to the same frequencies.
Fair enough. The crux of dowsing for me is a means to access my intuition. Whether my intuition then is talking to spirits, entities, nature or whatever is an ongoing discussion.
The secondary reason above begs another question. Why would you want to be aligned with such energies? Personally my understanding is that energy is the third mutable ingredient in the makeup of our being. Just like the gym is an excellent way of manipulating our physicality, so sacred sites are a way to alter our energetic being.
