Continued from Part I

Yes, no messing I was pushed away from that box by something. In being lost in dowsing and exploring I had forgotten that this was a -10 energy. But in no way had I expected a “push” like that. It was a horrid feeling that pushed me. Not a physical push, although it might have been but more like, hmmmm, you know when you get hit by an awful smell? It just throws you physically from a place? Well, that was what it was like.

As I stood in the fresh evening sunlight Peter was quizzing me as to what had happened. From my past experience of working with paranormal phenomena I have found it best not to answer such lay questions, the power of placebo is tremendous. So I lied and told him that a spider had fallen on me and that I was Arachnophobic. It didn’t wash but it stopped him questioning for the moment.

What the heck was that? It took me a few minutes to compose myself enough to ask some questions. And I’m telling you, I didn’t want to go into that house!

  • Had I just been pushed out of the house? Yes.
  • Had my protection been up? Yes
  • Was it some kind of awareness? Yes
  • Was it a Shroud? No
  • Did it push me on purpose? Yes
  • Was it an attack? No
  • Was it defence? Yes
  • Was it something to do with that box? Yes
  • Was it the spirit of the place? Genius Loci? No
  • Was it Evil?

Now where the heck did that question come from? I was in the throws of just asking question after question and that one popped right on in there. Let me tell you as far as I can recall I have never asked that question before (I don’t think Gwas has either) But there it was, I had asked the question…

  • Was it Evil? Yes

I could go into all the ‘stuff’ about, what is Evil and so on, but to be honest I don’t even know myself. I think with that kind of designation, one just has to have a holistic view or knowing (or feeling) of what Evil is.

I was frightened and I had to ask the rods, was my protection up to scratch? Yes, that was a relief. But I still had to force myself to believe it. In my explorations of the paranormal I have been witness to many things that people would normally scoff at and much that I am not capable of dealing with. I didn’t want to get involved to be quite frank.

Was it ok to ask questions about “it”? Sort of. What? This was a half and half answer. Which brought an intuitive tug and an amazing Q&A.

  • Did the thing have a threshold? Yes

I don’t know if you think so, but I felt that that question was  very intuitive. The thing whatever it was had a threshold. Unlike an aura, a threshold is its own demesne (like a protective home). The attic or some part of it was its home (energetically speaking). I wondered if some of its power came from the fact that I had entered its threshold without leave. The answer was YES.

Interesting. Was this also why I couldn’t ask many questions about it? Yes. Another intuitive leap made me ask, was this thing in residence before Peter had moved in? Yes. Ah, was this why it was able to have a threshold? Yes. It seemed to me that Peter had moved into an occupied house. As I ask these questions my fear eased a bit and I did wonder at the time as to why? But didn’t focus on trying to find out.

Peter invited me to the back garden and something to eat. I accepted and pondered where I was at.

  1. There was something in residence in the attic
  2. It was Evil (whatever that meant)
  3. It had something to do with the box I tried to move (maybe it lived in there?)
  4. It was spewing out negative energy in the attic and in the house.
  5. This energy was causing plants to die (at a minimum).
  6. It had a strong threshold.

As I thought about this I knew that I had to get that box! For a few minutes I considered asking Peter (to nip up and get it). You might think that I was being a bit care-free with his well being but quite the contrary, Peter didn’t much belief in all this mumbo jumbo. That belief (or lack thereof) was a powerful block to energies. Still, I thought no, I had to do it and as Peter brought some food out he found me dowsing in the back garden….

  • Will my protection allow me to go into the attic and get the box? YES
  • Was there any need for more protection? No.
  • Would it be hard? Yes
  • Would I be in danger? No

I said to Peter that I was just going to nip up to the attic and bring one of the boxes down. He insisted on helping me. So it was with a fair amount of fear that I headed up the stairs. As I went up a voice said something in my ear…

  • “It feeds on fear”

Ok, now you know that I’m a one for speaking with the odd invisible thing also for listening to my intuition, but this voice was neither. My intuition doesn’t have a voice as such. It is just a feeling, and I commune when I want to commune, I’ve never had an intrusion as such, so this voice stopped me, causing Peter to bump into me.

Note…yes by now Peter was getting more concerned about the nut (me) that he had let into his house. understandable.

I put the ‘voice’ aside for the moment but heeded it’s words and tried not to be afraid. Er… Like that worked! I climbed up the steps to the attic and said to Peter that I would pass the box down to him.

It might sound strange but I could almost see a kind of energy in the air near the box. It wasn’t exactly on it, like I had thought, but off to the side somewhat. Of course it could have been my imagination. I went to the opposite side of the box, braced myself against any kind of “push” or attack and grabbed the edge of the box. As I did I felt a sickening feeling in my stomach, like going down on a roller coaster and nearly let go again. Peter shouted across, “have you got it?” This distracted me and for some reason that helped and I was able to pull the box over and get it to the steps. I was expecting some kind of backlash from behind, but nothing happened. Weird!

Peter and I brought the box downstairs and at my suggestion into the sunlit garden.

In part 3 I tell the story of what we found in the box
