Have you read Paulo Coelho?

The Alchemist - Paulo Coelho
The Alchemist – Paulo Coelho

The title of this post forms a question that I was asked the other day, but also forms the kind of question that I have been asked on other occasions. Such questions come at a time when someone learns about the odd little tit-bit of my doings. Essentially what this blog is about.

Whenever I am asked such a question, I have to laugh – these days, laugh out loud. Of course I have read a few of Paulo’s books and others of similar ilk. The design of dispensing wisdom through semi-mystical tales is as old as cave paintings. However I had to mention to my friends and others…

Honestly, I’ve yet to come across a tale that has the adventures akin to what I’ve been on

…I know, sounds a bit egotistical doesn’t it. But if you are a reader of this blog judge for yourself…

Dragons, Fay, Spirits, Shades, Possession, Soul, Personal Growth, Genius Loci, Goddesses, Gods, Demigods, Energy, Aliens, Ascended Masters, Guides, Evil, Good, Demons, Djinn, Seers, Prediction, Omens, Signs, Crop Circles, Underworld, The Gardens of Babylon…

And that is just what I can recall of the top of my head. So when I get asked about how life is? It’s filled with creatures and adventures in domains that are of this world and others.

It is rare to get a chance to speak of such matters in an open forum and sometimes when I do, another comment can arise…surely its all in your head? I love this one even more than the previous one. It is one of those questions where you have no real answer. You can only experience this kind of life to know of its realness you can’t read it, told it, believe it, have faith in it or even see it. You have to experience it.  It’s not that this was always the case, but that is a story for a different post.

If you are asking that question then I know you haven’t experienced it (enough) and if you have experienced it enough, that question doesn’t arise anymore.
