A recurring theme that has haunted my adventures for the past couple of years is Dragons. Personally I blame it on Ireland. In any case I was hoping that they didn’t rear their head in Brittany and my prayers were pretty much answered until the very last-minute of the very last site visit.
We were less than a hundred metres from the car park when Gwas saw something. I’ll let him tell the tale. But from my perspective I was nervous, in fact I was much more than that. I was scared. Gwas had absorbed a Golden Dragon into his aura.
I am not sure it was a such a creature, in fact to me it felt eerily like the sense I got when I was being entrapped in a Fay Ring. Gwas however was unconvinced. Still, I didn’t want to get in the car. In fact even the small walk to the car had me walking a good 30 feet behind him.
It was a strange emotion that had overcome me. Gwas did some dowsing and more to placate me, released the Dragon until we returned home.
My reason for noting this is to keep a reminder of the event lest it have implications in the future. Phew!
