Caileach as a Butterfly Lammas 3

Circles and Stones, Dolmens and Chambers

Continuing on from the previous post and indeed from the previous location of the Singular Stone. As I walked away from the stone, closing the portal to the Fay. I approached a site that I was really looking forward to…The Moon Temple. I could already see that Chris was busy inside the circle and as … Read More “Caileach as a Butterfly Lammas 3” »

Four Knocks is an amazing place. I am convinced that there is something TARDISy about it. From the outside a small mound. On the inside a huge chamber. Go figure! It was the summer solstice of 2015 although from a personal point of energetic view I felt it was more like the solstice yesterday (and … Read More “Four Knocks: Second Sight p9 Solstice 2015” »

You can share your aura

You can share your aura
Quickie

This post is more of a self note – kind of like a selfie really. Often (or rather almost always) on this sacred journey many things are skipped, lost, forgotten or left by the wayside as unimportant (or so it seems). Posts like this are in order to avoid such misplacements. Whether these posts in … Read More “You can share your aura” »

The night and early morning had been spent in the land of the mystics. Opening the gates of the heart using Zikr and Sema. The result was a good day of sleep, but this then meant an evening of wakefulness. When I awoke from my slumber around 4 in the afternoon I had a yearning … Read More “Visions of a magician at the Wizards Wood” »

Belas Knap – leaving doubt behind

The mound of no doubt

Doubt is a soul sucking vampire! Harsh words, but really, wouldn’t you agree? In a previous post I talked about the Uncertainty Principle of Sacred Journeys. This principle would naturally increase doubt, but it would also naturally increase faith too, right? Do we have a choice as to which, I wonder.

Chris wanted to visit a sacred place that was a heck of a drive for a day out. Some 3 hours drive in fact. Still who am I to say no? So, one fine late Spring day we set off for the Cotswold and a sacred place called Belas Knap.

We arrived around lunch time and the weather was beautiful. Climbing the path up to the sacred place was a true delight. The views and the feel of the place was amazing. As we walked through the woods towards the sacred mound I could feel the need for some kind of preparation. I took out my dowsing rods and they confirmed that I needed to prepare before entering the place.

The Resonance of Caileach

Honestly, our adventures surprise us on a daily basis. From one synchronicity and strange occurrence do we wander. Seemingly aimless and yet specifically guided. We had spent considerable time looking for the Church of St Michael prior to our time at Arthur’s Well without success and then literally a few minutes after leaving that place … Read More “The Resonance of Caileach” »

Lady of the Well predicts Laughter

Traditionally (for us) Imbolc has been a time that is filled with promising freshness of the year and quite frankly one of the best sacred pilgrimage times. Over the last few years Imbolc has proven a beautiful entrance into the coming year and this year we were not disappointed by the days events. We began … Read More “Lady of the Well predicts Laughter” »
