In my exploration of energy I have come to the hypothesis that intuition and emotion are the interface between our organic self and our energetic self.

Now

I am sat during the final moments of the sun’s setting, facing the western shore looking out into the Irish sea. Behind and below me is the ancient sacred site of Pen Maen Mawr also know as the Druids circle. Between me and the circle are a set of incense sticks burning. 23 in total although only 3 or 4 can be seen from my position. They have formed a tether between the energies of the circle and myself. I have been told that I will need it. Surrounding me are 5 pure quartz crystals. Reminiscent of a powerful layout that I recall from an experience in the Emerald Isle.

Wisdom and guidance from an ancient friend and perhaps an infinite one has brought me here on this cold evening. Here in this spot the sun takes an age to disappear and it’s a good job too because I need some extra time to prepare.

A song comes to my mind bidden from memory. It is a song that has been played here before, down in the circle. It is the song that connects me to my energy self. That mysterious other that legend and myth speaks of. My thoughts aren’t as clear they have been on previous occasions when I have sung the invite to my energy self. I have emotional things on my mind this evening.

I look down at the pure white rock in my hand. It was a gift given to me on a beach that shores the Atlantic ocean off the island of Iona only a few weeks ago. At that time its purity was visible an clear. Now it burned with another hue, or maybe it was just me imagining it. A little of both perhaps?

Three hours ago

Can one have so much adventure in the space of one day, or indeed half a day? Do you know, this is what I think it feels like when one is following Destiny. Destiny, I wonder if its etymology is to be on a journey to a destination? Aren’t all journeys to a destination?

I had issues of death and life on my mind. Given that, my destination is a place where questions about such matters have always provided dividends. Of course my destination is that Ancient Old Yew tree that is the caretaker of a church in the village of Llangernyw.

As I walk through the gates I spy two other visitors sitting under the eaves of my old friend. I nod to them and remark at the wonder of the tree. They smile and agree and I ask if it is okay if I joined them, to sit under this marvelous creature. Commune with Ancient ol yew is as easy as it has always been and as I sit there holding a bright white Ionian rock I ask my questions.

  • What to do?
  • Where to go?
  • When?

Ever faithful Yew responds with directions. Go to the Druids circle was the immediate response and even as he spoke I felt another presence enter the place. It was Caileach. I hadn’t communed with her since my episode in the hospital.

What do you have there ? she asked gently. Like she didn’t know. Nevertheless I held my hand open for her to see the pure white rock. I don’t know whether beings like her understand human emotions. Tears trickled down my eyes as I cradled the stone with soft gentleness. She stroked my cheek, as if curious about the tears. With one arm wrapped around the yew she gestured me away from that place. Go now to the Druids Circle and call upon your shining other.

Conception Energies – an odd finding

How could I refuse? In this post I talked about a challenge that a friend had put to me. In essence whether I could find out where a child had been conceived. As you can read I succeeded, primarily by finding the existence of conception energies. Now I had been given the opportunity to explore these energies in detail. I couldn’t have refused even if I tried.

So, here I am at the house of Julie and her (3 year old) daughter Lucy. I had determined that Lucy had been conceived on the stairs of the house (in fact the 6th step). Now I was here to learn about that energy. Let me just fire the questions in roughly the order I asked them…

  • Was this energy formed during intercourse? Yes (an obvious one)
  • Would it have formed if no baby was conceived? No
  • So it’s not sexual energy? No
  • Was there any kind of unusual energy there before the conception? Yes

Now then that is a surprise finding isn’t? I wonder what kind of energy was there prior. Could it be that there was some kind of energy there that promoted conception?

  • Did the energy that was there prior to conception promoting conception? Yes
  • How much of a determining factor was it? 1…2…3…4… was it 4 out of 10? Yes

Okay, now that has opened up a whole new kettle of fish. Let’s leave it for a moment tho (don’t scream). Back to conception energies…

  • Is conception energy male? No
  • Female? No
  • Neutral? No
  • Primal? Yes

That is rather odd because Gwas and I have only come across Primal energy on a few occasions. Our first encounter with it was at a Crop Circle. So what the heck is it doing here?

Ancestor energies and conception energy

In this post I will be explaining how I was shown that the next stage in my quest to regain the energy of my ancestors is in Ireland, and that a new form of energy at the other end of the spectrum from death energy was discovered, which I will call “conception energy”.

After visiting Dinas Bran we made a quick stop off at Vale Crucis Abbey, Llangollen’s imposing ruins that block the very light of the day. With its original furbishing it must have been resplendent. In the weak rays of a Winter morning the sun was trying to refurbish the walls with light and in parts it succeeded at re-introducing warmth. Out of the sunlight the shadows were seasonably chilly.

For me Vale Crucis Abbey was the location where I had been set upon a quest to recover ancestor energies when I encountered the shade of a holy man called St Duignan. St Duignan, I discovered through dowsing and research, had come over to Vale Crucis from Ireland. The Duignans were intimately linked to my ancestors and the region I had always known my family to have originated from. I could find no record of “Saint” Duignan in Ireland, so I presume that his canonisation may have resulted from his services whilst in Wales. I have more detective work to do concerning this.

Ancestor energy is a term I have used to describe the subtle energy imprints left at a particular place of power (a power centre, perhaps) by our ancestors – those family connections from whom we are descended and have a genetic link to.

As Kal flitted around finding a meditation spot to work in I began to ask whether there was anything I could do here that would progress my spiritual path. Surely, in a place with such particular links for me, I would find some information source or task that I could learn from. The rods came out and I began to objectively quiz them. They gave a rapid response. NO. No? NO. Nothing to do here! Obviously, the next question is “Why?”, but as we know, “Why”-type questions are notoriously difficult to get answers to through dowsing, which requires something of a binary technique (questions with distinct YES or NO answers give the most trustworthy responses).

I began to narrow the scope down by investigating the circumstances of what I had been asking about. I had wanted to interact with the shade of St Duignan – the answer had been NO. I began to question along this line.

  1. Was the shade of St Duignan present here at this site? NO.
  2. Did the shade still exist in the form I had encountered it? YES. Then it must simply be elsewhere.
  3. Was the shade in this country? NO.
  4. Was it in Ireland? YES. Aha! But why….? Always the ‘why’!
  5. Had the shade returned to the place from which it originated? YES.
  6. Does that mean that it had returned to the place that it was born when physically human? YES.

I knew where this would be. I had done my research and have a trip planned there for late Spring this year. Now that I had located the shade, the remaining spirit energy of someone possibly linked to my own ancestors, I was curious to know why it was important that the shade returned to its place of origin. This seemed like the most important thing I could possibly need to know. An overwhelming feeling of importance flooded through me. I was riveted to the spot. This was something vital for me to know about my quest this year – something that would guide me way. The hunt began with the dowsing rods and I kept my intuitive senses alert for any other feelings or information that might filter into my tiny blank brain.
