Kal and I are going to Alderley Edge together (for the first time here) tomorrow. I am really looking forward to it, especially as the weather is set to close in as we arrive. I’m imagining the energies of the Forest to close in like a protective sphere when the rain clouds threaten – there’s always a sense of this when standing amongst trees when a cold front approaches. They seem to huddle together and close ranks, as it were.

A full report of the visit will ensure tomorrow evening, I’m sure. On my agenda are two key points:
1) To get Kal to dowse the Bent Tree and folly stone circle areas to see what he finds. How closely will it correlate with what I have traced?
2) Will I get a quiet time and place to meditate amongst the interesting trees? Kal is one for meditation himself, so that should be no issue, but sometimes it just doesn’t get to happen. I want to try a more extensive connection, and some specific concepts.
Rain or shine, something interesting usually happens.
Gwas.
