Intent

Although I am completely convinced that it is the journey that is important and rarely the destination. I feel also that the journey consists of meeting goals along the way. That said it is perhaps time to wonder what our intent is in journeying along the path we are currently on.

From the perspective of my friend Gwas, who set up this site, we can see the markings and allusions to Druidry however the majority of the posts on this site are concerned with energy explorations and what ‘this’ post is about is what the heck is our intent in doing all this dowsing? Is it just a hobby? a fad, a pastime? Or is it something more serious and if so why? In essence what is our intent?

I say our – however again as a believer in individual paths (or my latest revelation ‘there is no path‘) for all – I do mean my intent (Gwas will no doubt post his).

There is a saying that human kind has a deep and abiding curiosity to learn, discover, explore and adventure. I disagree! A few individuals have this curiosity, this itch that has to be scratched, this irksome ass that wont settle in to a comforting chair. Such people have to explore and go round the next corner – even and indeed – if round the corner there is danger.

I am not talking here about people who sky-dive, and go on adventure holidays, I am speaking of people who explore(d) the Amazon jungles, climbed mount everest(s) and, in essence danced with death. It is to that true adventurous spirit that I give allegiance.

Surely I am talking out of my hat here?! What about dowsing circles and exploring energy lines is dangerous, death defying and indeed adventurous? On the contrary I have to disagree. The frontier that faces all of us – the one that is hardly ever explored is our own self. To delve into ourselves and plumb the connection that we all must (may?) have with – with what?

Ah…

Dear people – intent – to explore the undiscovered country, the country that is me
