The Fifth Task

Energy work, Modern Druidry

Those who have been keeping step with our blog may have noted that in the last 1/4 of the year I was given to expect five challenges to overcome. The failure at which would lead to another revolution of the same spiral. See these posts…

  • A night in the forest
  • What is the fifth task

What remained was the fifth challenge. This last has been the most difficult of the five. It was to leave the comforts and security of my home.  I have lived in my current home for the last 12 years and it is a true wrench to leave it but over the last 6 months I have been feeling the need to “let it go” and this week saw me take the final steps to do that.

Although I have no place to move to I decided that steps (action) had to be taken to get me moving and so I called in some friends and we spent a day moving most of my furniture and books into storage.

After 3 trips we had all the stuff into storage and the house was seeming bare and lonely. With only a skeletal amount of furniture I am still here for about 3 weeks until a new place comes into being, where and when that is remains in the laps of the gods – well – half in their laps.

Although I say “bare and lonely” the other day I came into the house and it felt like it had totally different energies. So I was out with my rods and off checking the energetic state of the house. Tied in with this was a bit of intuitive questioning and the following emerged.

The house – to anthropomorphise it – was happy that I was going because it knew our time together was over. Its energies had been healed of any harms that had been done and it was ready to move on to whomsoever took ownership next.

There was one note of warning…that I not forget to do one final collection of energy before I go. Oddly I asked do I need to do anything for this final collection? The answer was yes and I was taken to the side of the house where there are a pile of bricks. The rods directed me to take each of the bricks and place them in the back garden so that they formed a kind of square container. I suspect that something is going to get burned in that…what I don’t know yet.
