Beltane II: Llangerny Yew and a Knights Code

Ye Ancient Yew

Pardon the delay in writing up these posts. Life is coming together quite rapidly as the previous post regarding Beltane and the visit to Dinas Bran predicted and I am kept busy on all fronts. Still it is an excuse not a reason I confess. The second part of our outing on Beltane led us to my favourite wisdom gathering site. Ye Ancient Yew of Llangernyw. Much wisdom has been imparted by this wondrous tree and it is always enlightening to visit this 4,500 year old truth-sayer.

We arrived in short order and the sun was splendid and warm. This time we decided to enter via the lower gate rather than the main door and almost immediately we separated and followed our own callings. I wandered the lower church ground and graves, giving recognition and a wide berth to the only remaining shade in the place. After a while of enjoying the sun and greeting the Genius Loci I went up to the Yew tree and paid my respects. For some reason I had intuited that today was a day to bring the crystal I had received at Tintagel with me and this was going to be the opportunity to use it. I dowsed for a suitable place to put it and it was right between the crack of the Yew tree, which also happened to be the place for me to meditate. Readying myself and my purpose (of garnering more knowledge about what to do for my Knights Quest) I stilled my thoughts and let the Yew commune as it would.

Map

As always I was thrown into an image of blue keys floating around my head in a 3 dimensional ebb and flow. As I watched they seemed to come together in a pattern. It was a pattern that I didn’t recognise but I just knew it was a pattern nevertheless.

As I marvelled at this un-captured pattern I saw that I would be ripping up my current instruction book…what did this mean? For what I saw looked like an actual instruction book being ripped up. Weird! I queried the vision what could/should replace this book? Then I saw and old fashioned roll of parchment unfold, at the top was a crest that I couldn’t make out (darn!) but below it was a roll of paper that held instructions…more than instructions, orders.

Code

As I returned from my commune my direction was clear. I don’t know whether it was just the Yew or the combination of the Yew and the clarity of the Quartz crystal that did it. But even without dowsing I knew what I had to do.

  1. Rip up my old instruction book.
  2. Create a new one.

Dowsing confirmed this immediately and as I asked whether this formed another blue key a thought occurred to me, Was this a Knights Code? Yes! and almost as an after thought, the rods flicked yes to the question as to whether this was a Blue Key.

Wow! What an enlightening experience and more fuel for this quest.
