Tintagel and the quest continues

Ancient Sites

For some days now I had been feeling that another blue key was in the offing. About time too I was thinking, as the quest for knighthood seemed to be taking a back burner and October was fast approaching. If this opening paragraph sounds a bit cryptic then please refer to the following tag link… A knights quest.

In a recent post I had shown that the two Yew trees outside my window were flooding my room with energy tendrils. I also mentioned that this energy made it quite feasible to dowse in my room for intuitive knowledge. Thus before going to sleep on Friday night I set up a summoning. I wanted to know where I needed to go to gain my next blue key. Who better to ask than Cailleach? But could I summon her? Hmmm ego was obviously at play here. I wondered for a moment as to whether I should “Ask” her to visit.

I actually sat and pondered this curious thought for a good 40/50 minutes weighing up what it meant to me. In the final analysis it came to the understanding (or lack thereof) of what Cailleach was. I couldn’t answer that question meaningfully (like, what is a Goddess? anyways?) So I opted to take my fate into my own hands and go with a Summoning. Phew!

My intention was in getting this question answered…

  • Where to go on the weekend to receive this new questing pointer, i.e. Blue Key?

But ostensibly I would like a measure of how things are going too (might as well get as many answers as possible, right?)

tournament

The rods indicated that I needed to change the energy state of the room to be more conducive to gaining an answer. This new state required the use of placing my Tintagel quart crystal in a power center in the room and using two other crystals as focusers (well that is what they seemed to look like).

I fell asleep with the above question in mind and awoke almost instantly. I had seen a flash of green flame and Cailleach had dropped three burning embers in front of me. Rather they were three pieces of paper…

  • You are still working on the strength of arm healing.
  • You haven’t started the confidence in your voice.
  • You haven’t pinned your pennant to your castle.

Again, I have to say, why does this stuff happen so fast? I mean you get all the ritual/ceremony type stuff that takes hours to do and yet consistently Gwas and I get almost immediate results. I take the point that I hadn’t got an answer to my question of where to go. But I felt this was all I was going to get, funnily I also felt that I should dismantle the crystal setup as it would be detrimental to my sleep. This I did. And the remainder of my sleep was undisturbed.

Saturday morning arrived and with last nights rebuke of sorts I thought I would opt for the old… “list of sites and dowse for which one to go to” which resulted in Tintagel, although the rods also gave a slight flick towards the Merry Maidens sacred site. It was almost as if I needed to go to both sites. Fair enough! I’m game! So off I drove.

Tintagel

My first stop was at the legendary castle of King Arthur, namely Tintagel. Sitting on the coast it is always a pleasure to behold and today was no exception. However since I was in a bit of a hurry today it seemed that it was going to be a flying visit. I was mistaken. I asked the rods where I needed to be and they directed me to the castle grounds.

Avoiding the looks from the hundreds of visitors and the “Are you looking for water?” questioner (seriously, water? Here on the coast?). I walked and ambled across almost all of the castle grounds before the rods settled just below an under hang. It took me a moment to realise that this was the place that Gwas had attuned to the energy of Arthur on our first ever visit to Tintagel. Wow!

I lit 4 incense sticks as I was directed and sat facing the ocean. Tuning out to the odd passer-by I searched around for the energy signature of Cailleach. Nothing! I pondered whether I was here to commune with Arthurian energy and with the thought my mind was filled with images.

I was at a knights tournament at the court of King Arthur. There were pennants from around the world and their was mine too, flying amongst them. A phoenix rising from the ashes. Somewhere a trumpet blew and many knights gathered across a great field, with thousands of spectators in the stands. I rushed over to join the knights and the vision cleared and vanished.

The message was obvious, but how, what and where? I instantly confirmed that the next blue key would be for me to attend (or rather participate in) a tourney. A knights tournament, for real?

What a curious key this turned out to be?

Next it was off to the Merry Maidens and more understanding of the tournament AND a Warning.

You have some interesting things happening to you and around you Kal.

Re being asked “Are you looking for water?”…… I was asked the selfsame thing when I was dowsing in the Ring of Brodgar which is yards from the coast. At the moment the questioner uttered that phrase, I was standing in a large puddle by a stone, during a heavy downpour !

      Hi Rune,
It is a lot tamer than it used to be Rune, I once got entangled with some bad mojo and was having sychronistic events multiple times a day. That kind of stuff is too scary and fortunately, I know people who are good with dealing with that kind of thing and they helped me out. Now it is at a much more enjoyable and manageable level.

Yes, that “dowsing for water” is becoming a tiresome question 🙂
      Thanks for your comment,
      Kal Malik
