When you are “on the path”, that is following a magickal process of development, then things happen which you can’t fail to notice. Recently time syncs have begun to re-appear. I’ve been noticing “17:17” or “21:21” for example. Silly little inconsequential things. And then this happened…
I was going to work the way I normally go. For years I have been travelling this route, although I vary between three or four standard routes over the course of the year in order to keep myself from going insane. I was approaching a junction that is particularly difficult to see out of because you approach on the crest of a hill. I wasn’t paying any particular level of attention, and possibly because of that the shock of an apple bouncing onto my windscreen right in the middle where my head was positioned startled me all the more. I physically jumped out of my seat as it thudded on the screen and bounced off to one side. Boy did that wake me up!
I noticed the time – it was 7:57am. I pulled over to the side of the road at a convenient point minutes later and texted the story through to my wife. We don’t often text, but I thought it would amuse her, something so strange. She responded asking if I was OK, and the windscreen wasn’t broken, etc.
I got into work and switched on my computer. When it booted up I accessed my e-mail. Oddly, there was an e-mail from my wife. Again, she doesn’t normally e-mail me, but this one was entitled “Cheeky apple boy”. I smiled – obviously she was having a joke after my morning’s incident. I opened the mail to find a picture that she’d taken at the weekend of me picking the first apples of the year from our tree:

When I got home we chatted about the incident. How nice, I said, that you sent me that picture afterwards. “Afterwards?” she replied, “No – I sent that BEFORE you texted.” What? I checked the time of the e-mail – 07:57AM – the exact time when the incident had happened! “Yes,” M confirmed, “I thought it was odd that you had seen the e-mail because you would have been driving, and then you told me about the apple hitting the car and it seemed like a strange coincidence.”
A mad coincidence indeed. At the moment when the apple hit my windscreen M had been sending me that picture. Isn’t that coincidental?
