8 Beltane 2014 – Grounding pain at Le Grand Brisé

Energy work, Healing, Visions

The tour guide of the Locmaraquier Megalithic Complex took her group away from the broken standing stone, and guided them towards the Table of the Merchants, which I had just had a remote viewing experience inside a few minutes earlier. Now I had the segmented stone called Le Grand Brisé to myself. Kal was close by, but he was engaged in a frenzied period of dowsing activity, so I left him alone and didn’t interrupt. We only chat briefly before he wanders off again.

I am standing in front of the three huge stone blocks which had once been joined together to form what must have been the tallest monolith in the world – well, certainly in the Celtic world. It would have been an impressive sight to anyone coming ashore in the nearby bay. Even though it has been dis-jointed it still exudes a certain power, a pride, a majesty. I decide to tune into the stone to try to discover something ‘hidden’ about it, and I use the dowsing rods to determine the correct approach to do this.

I have to follow a zig-zag path to the great stone. Do I touch this part? NO, say the rods. Where next, then, I ask? I am taken to the second fallen part, and here I can touch the stone itself. I touch it and shift my awareness into another form of consciousness….

I feel pain. The pain, the strain, the effort of those who had been involved in its construction. Their faces, their actions, their driven efforts, their deaths – all these feelings and images flood through me like a river of misery, tinged with an overwhelming determination to see a conclusion – to make this happen. Were these people slaves? Were they compelled to do this work? These questions interrupt my ‘other’ attention, but I don’t get any answers due to the speed of the incoming flow of data. It’s like a tidal wave of images, “blipverts“, subliminal messages delivered in nanoseconds of recognisable form and feeling; mostly indistinct, blended or like a moving mosaic of human experience. The overriding feel is pain – physical strain – hurting.

Wow! There’s so much of this hurt embedded in these stone sections! I pull back and assess the situation. Do I think I can do anything to relinquish this pain? Is it the right thing to do? I use the dowsing rods to check the implications. Everything would be OK – I can and should do something, and there will be no bad consequences for myself or others if I do this. Only good can come of such mercy work. Do I have the power to do this healing? YES. Then I will do it.

I put the rods away and prepare. I ask for the guidance of any healing spirits that I have encountered for them to assist me in the work, and I call them in. Then I generate some personal power by drawing ‘white light’ energy (unified male and female forces) from the landscape around me – a modified version of a technique that Magic Mike taught me. I place my left hand on the stone.

Using my left hand (my ‘taking’ hand) I absorb the energy and ground them as fast as I can. The flow, the flood, the deluge is immense – so powerful and negative a stream that I can only stand to hold my hand on the stone for about thirty seconds before I can;t take any more and dis-engage unceremoniously, almost falling to the floor as I reel around.

THE TAKING AND THE GIVING HAND: Have you ever noticed in your energy work that you have one hand that you use to absorb energy, and one that you use to deliver it? Naturally, you will default to one hand as a ‘giving’ hand, and the other as the ‘taking’ hand. Have a think – does that tally with your own experience? Had you noticed this about yourself? Rub your hands together for a minute, then place them a few inches apart from each other, palms facing each other. Do you feel the flow going in one particular direction? One is giving, the other accepting, or taking.

I compose myself a bit, and consider going back for me, even though the experience was not pleasant, yet it felt necessary, but the a tour party arrives on another guided tour, so I decided that I don’t want to put on an impromptu floor show for them which would make the guide’s job difficult. I quickly ground myself and cut all energetic connections, leaving no portal open for the pain to travel through or stick to. Whatever pain remains in the stone I sealed back in. Maybe others will continue the work in the future?

Kal comes over to see whether I’m ready to go. There are lots of other sites in the area to see, and we have the whole day ahead of us, so we decide it’s time to leave. I buy some gifts from the gift shop – always keen to encourage the tourist trade supporting the preservation of megalithic sites. It’s tat, but it’s a token gift – the real donation has just been done. Let’s see what is next on our final day in Brittany!
