In true Indian Jones style here is a lost post from my visit to Egypt at the end of 2014. As you can see it is enumerated as 12 thus you can go to this link to see all of my other escapades from that adventure. The Valley of the Kings has an awesome title but as … Read More “Energy in the Tombs – Egypt 12” »

Quests

On my trip to Egypt there have been many adventures. Some of them I went there for. For instance the Amber and Fire. Many of them were to learn about some kind of energy such as the Queen and the Djinn. However over the 9 days of my visit one theme kept cropping up. This … Read More “Six Offerings Quest – Egypt 15” »

From a west bank of the Nile in Luxor point of view, my favourite place has to be the Temple of Habu. I know it’s called the Mortuary temple and all that, I’m just saying, it’s my favourite. From a feeling point of view of course. As you enter into the complex you’re greeted by … Read More “Djinn at Habu temple – Egypt 14” »

Hatshepsut, try saying that without spitting? It was my 3rd day in Luxor and I had just left (or been kicked out of) the Valley of the Kings. My next stop was the amazing temple of Hatshepsut. Now one thing that you have to remember and use to judge my Egyptian adventures is that beyond … Read More “Queen rises at Hatshepsut – Egypt 13” »

Research at the Valley of the Kings – Egypt 11

Okay, I know, you must have heard of the Valley of the Kings, right? Well, not as exciting as I imagined. Let me retitle that for you…Valley of the Tombs of the Kings. Is a much more accurate and truer description of the place. About the only good – and rather funny – thing about it is that you’re not allowed to take pictures inside or outside the tombs.  The few you see here were rather surreptitiously recorded. So from the outside this is what you see…

Valley of the Tombs of the Kings
Valley of the Tombs of the Kings

Nothing really to shout about. As I wandered around the place I pulled out my dowsing rods and asked them to take me to some place worthy of my attention. They agreed and started to take me up towards a tomb. As I walked up the slope I passed a sign saying that tomb was closed. It didn’t bother me, surely the rods (aka my intuition) had considered that?

I continued to walk up the slope and finally just as I thought the rods would take me to the fenced of entrance to a tomb, they twirled around and pointed me towards the valley that I had climbed from. This, apparently was the place to prepare myself for my excursion into the Valley of the Kings…

Problems for the Genius Loci – Egypt 10

Path of the Sphinx
Path of the Sphinx

It was my second day in Luxor and I was eager to go exploring. On this day I had Luxor Temple in mind. It is located in the center of Luxor and was just a 20 minute taxi ride from my hotel. The taxi driver said he would pick me up and asked me how long I would be. Learning from my lesson yesterday I left it open. Tourist time does not apply to me. It could be ten minutes or it could be three hours.

The ticket office is just by the square that sits before the temple gates. As you enter the temple is to your left, on the right there is a long path with sphinx statues on either side. The path is about a couple of hundred metres in length. I pulled out my dowsing rods and queried as to the place where I needed to be to prepare myself for entering the temple. The rods took me the full length of the path of the sphinx, in the mid-day sun.

I was taken to a smooth rock and told to place it at the starting point. The picture shows the rock and the distance from the temple, well sort of. This done, I was expecting to walk back to the temple, but the rods had other plans. The energy path that I had to take took me to each sphinx. One after the other. Left, right and left again. When you are following rods, you tend to walk slightly slower than normal and in that sun. It was hot and a long journey.

Also, actually, quite a lonely one, as no one else had even entered the path whilst I was working there. My left-right journey continued until I reached about half way. At this point another path from the right joins the main walk-way. Whether this path is ancient or modern I don’t know. But if I were to make an energetic guess, I would say modern. Because at that point, it is as if the energy (path) had been pushed to the left. Now before this point, I was walking from each sphinx to the other, across the central path you can see. Now, however, I had been pushed off the main central path and was walking between the sphinx on the left and the left edge of the path, in the sand.

Obelisk at Karnak – Egypt 9
Quickie, Signs and Synchronicity

I am not a restful soul I have to say. Barely had I arrived in Luxor than I was off out on an adventure. Walking up to the desk in the hotel, I asked the attendant, which is the nearest place to visit? It was 1pm in the afternoon and I didn’t want to go … Read More “Obelisk at Karnak – Egypt 9” »
