Powers of the staff

Powers of the staff
Tarot

This post describes my investigations into the powers of my staff. – an incidental tale whose only relevance  is that it shows what can be done with a combination of intuition, divination and dowsing. After the Spring Equinox I was left with a starting point for how I should proceed along my path for the next … Read More “Powers of the staff” »

My five healing rays

My five healing rays
Dowsing, Healing, Natural Magick, Tarot

Being on a long-term quest to discover energy healing I sometimes spend a bit of time using divination techniques to bring more knowledge to light. This was the case recently after I had worked with my friend Michael. When we had been doing some earth energy healing work I had seen some pink light around … Read More “My five healing rays” »

The Cheshire Hawk Landscape Figure

The Cheshire Hawk Landscape Figure
Ancient Sites, Dowsing, Hedge Druidry, Quests, Spirits, Tarot

My Beltane quest, to be completed before the Summer Solstice, is the “See with the eyes of The Hawk“. That was the message from the ever-useful Llangernyw Yew tree meditation that I did within the hollows of one of its ancient branches. Whilst trying to interpret this information I had tried to elicit a bit … Read More “The Cheshire Hawk Landscape Figure” »

Tarot: another source of information

Tarot: another source of information
Modern Druidry, Tarot

I rarely use Tarot Cards. That’s mainly because they are so damned spookily accurate! They make me nervous. There was a spell when Kal was using the cards regularly, for himself and for others, and he found the same. He told me how it was useful for obtaining the kind of information about a situation … Read More “Tarot: another source of information” »

Mid-Summer Night’s Dream

Posted on August 3, 2010August 3, 2010 By kal 3 Comments on Mid-Summer Night’s Dream
Edge Wizardry, Tarot

Last night I had a dream….In the dream someone was calling me. It was a gentle voice that seemed to come on the breeze, it whispered that “It was time” and I should come. I “floated” out of my bed and flew in the direction of the voice. I thought at first it was coming from Alderley Edge as that was the direction I was heading in but I passed over that and continued on.

As I continued this, rather slow for a dream, journey I realised that it was coming from the Oak tree by the side of Nine Stones Close stone circle. Just as I arrived at the circle I woke up. So now I am off (at 7a.m.) in the morning to see or hear what there is to experience there…

Tools of the trade

So I wrote the above section before I set off and I just returned now at 4pm. And I have to say, I am transformed.

Before I left I dowsed to see what tools would be required and the rods went mad, I needed to take…

  • Incense, Crystals, Tarot Cards

And two other things. I couldn’t think what so I asked the rods to show me and I diligently followed them out of the front door (what???) and right to my rose bush. Was I to take cuttings from it? No, Apparently I was to take some rose flowers from it. How many? Five.

The other thing that they led me to was hidden under a pile of junk (er home stuff) which I removed item by item checking each one and finally arrived at my singing bowl.

Wow! this seemed like it was going to be a fantastic ceremony!

I arrived at Nine Stones Close and the weather was gorgeous, the sun was out and the sky was “The Simpsons” blue. As I approached the Oak and the stones I felt a welcoming greeting from the Oak tree whose aura I had healed, wow was it only a year ago? Feels like a century ago!

Preparation

I asked the dowsing rods what preparation was needed and here is the results.

  • I would be sitting under the Oak tree’s eaves facing the stones.
  • Crystals ~ I used five crystals and placed them in a pentagram around me. Although I had a wide selection of them, it seems I was only going to be using Quartz today.
  • Incense ~ Again five sticks each next to the crystals. Funny thing was that as I dowsed to place these I was taken around all four stones before placing it right next to a crystal – How odd is that?

Nightmares, Dowsing and the Tarot

Nightmares It had been a long days travel, to get me from the UK to Michigan in the US of A. I had been chasing the sun for 18 hours and had nothing but a shattered body to show for it as I opened the door to my lakeside apartment at about 2 am Michigan … Read More “Nightmares, Dowsing and the Tarot” »
